When to undergo the procedure:
The only restriction after the application of botulinum toxin is on increased physical activity and the consumption of alcohol in the first three days.
What to expect:
People will notice that you look good, but won’t know why. The application of botulinum toxin disrupts nerve-muscle agitation, leading to the necessary muscle relaxation. Your skin will become smoother and facial wrinkles will temporarily disappear.
How is the procedure performed:
The procedure is quick and painless. Botulinum toxin is applied with a fine needle. After that, the all-natural protein enters directly into the muscles and the resulting effect appears within 14 days. We can explain and show you all the details at the clinic.
The application of botulinum toxin does not require hospitalisation. However, physical activity should be limited for 6 hours after the procedure, and the patient should avoid sunlight, solariums, saunas and sport in the first two days.
What to expect after the procedure:
The effects of the procedure will last for 4 to 6 months. After that, the muscle will gradually shrink again, though never with its original force. The procedure can be repeated 3x a year.
