An elegant way to get rid of the sad and tired expression most frequently caused by loose skin on the forehead and upper eyelids.
The surgery is suitable for:
Anyone troubled by sagging upper eyelids, where mere eyelid surgery would not necessarily have the required effect. This is because the sagging skin often begins above the eyebrow.
When to undergo surgery:
Anytime.
What to expect:
Smoother, tighter skin and more relaxed and joyful expression of the whole face.
How is the surgery performed:
In principle, a long surgical incision is made, most commonly along the hairline, from where the skin is loosened all the way down to the eyebrows. The minor mimic muscles are then cut, and the skin is stretched and tightened. Excess skin is removed. The surgery is performed under general anaesthesia.
Length of hospitalisation:
Clients only stay at the clinic for a single night.
What to expect after the surgery:
After surgery, there will be swelling of the eyelids and bruising, mostly around the eyes. Stitches are usually removed about 12-14 days after surgery. The effects of the surgery will be visible after the swelling subsides.
