Augmentation of the buttocks has become a very big trend in recent years. Clients who do not wish to use a buttocks implant can use a less radical augmentation method, specifically based on the use of their own fat. It’s important to note that this will increase the buttocks by one half or one size category. This procedure is more of a filler and cannot be used to make dramatic changes to one’s buttocks.
The procedure is suitable for:
Clients who have enough fat available to be used, from at least two or three areas. To achieve a visible difference, we need at least 1 litre of fat from liposuction. After cleaning, the doctor will have approx. 300 ml of high-quality fat, which is then applied to each buttock. The more fat that is gained, the more that can be applied.
What to expect:
A small increase in the size of your buttocks.
How is the procedure performed:
The procedure is performed under analgosedation or general anaesthesia. It takes about 2.5 hours. The first part consists of liposuction from selected areas. Afterwards, the fat undergoes
a complex cleaning process in a closed system, resulting in the highest-quality fat with the most stem cells. This is then applied to the buttocks via small injections.
Length of hospitalisation:
Hospitalisation only lasts 4 hours in case of analgosedation, 1 night in case of general anaesthesia.
What to expect after the procedure:
It is very important to follow post-surgery instructions. The most important point is to avoid straining the areas where fat was applied. The blood vessels must grow into the new fat properly, to ensure it is supplied with nutrients and hence maintains its volume. That is why we recommend not sitting for 7 days, and only when it cannot be avoided in the subsequent week. It is recommended you sleep on your side or stomach. If your job involves a lot of sitting, then stay at home for at least 16 days.
