The most effective method to get rid of skin rolls and crinkles and thereby achieve a firmer, more athletic look.
The surgery is suitable for:
Women troubled by sagging skin. Either for aesthetic reasons or in relation to hygiene problems or eczema.
When to undergo surgery:
There are no restrictions for arms, but for thighs, the ideal time to perform the surgery is about one week after menstruation, as this prevents infection and gives the longest possible time for healing.
What to expect:
Firmer arms or thighs and removal of excess skin.
How is the surgery performed:
Under general anaesthesia. The doctor first detaches the skin with an incision following previous measurement, then stretches and tightens it, and finally removes any excess skin. Scars remain on the inner side of the arms and in the crease below the buttocks (from the groin area).
Length of hospitalisation:
Usually 1 to 3 days. This is followed by rest at home for 2 to 3 weeks. Sports are possible 6 weeks after the procedure.
What to expect after surgery:
We recommend compression massages for faster healing of the arms, and compression underwear for both thighs and arms. Stitches are removed 2-3 weeks after the surgery. It is important to devote particular attention to personal hygiene in the groin area.
