Early removal of mammary glands can reduce the risk of cancer by up to 80 percent. Immediate reconstruction is performed at the same time as the removal of the mammary gland.

After about 3 weeks after the procedure, it is recommended to start a pressure massage of the scars. It is appropriate to use special creams for scars. It is recommended to wear a special compression bra for at least 8 weeks after the procedure. The recovery time is individual and also depends on the type and extent of the reconstruction performed. With greater physical activity can be started no earlier than six weeks after surgery.
