A procedure treating the hands with one’s own fat is also increasingly popular. The results include tighter skin, a livelier colour and improved fullness of the hands. This procedure also involves the application of fat into the body, in this case the back side of the hands, using cannulas.
The transfer of fat into the hands is one of the most effective of these treatments due to the high “survival rate” of transferred fat.
The procedure is suitable for:
Very slim clients who are not happy with their “bony” hands.
When to undergo surgery:
No restrictions.
What to expect:
Fuller hands, clearer skin.
How is the procedure performed:
The procedure is performed under either local anaesthesia or analgosedation.
The procedure does not require a large amount of fat. It is therefore sufficient to perform liposuction in a single location. The doctor removes the required amount of fat using a small cannula; the fat is then carefully cleaned. Only the highest-quality fat with the greatest amount of stem cells is used.
Length of hospitalisation:
No hospitalisation is required.
What to expect after the procedure:
Hands are bandaged after the procedure. The client should rest for at least 3 days and avoid getting their hands wet. We recommend avoiding any strain of the upper limbs for at least 10 days. We recommend hair stylists, masseuses and clients with similar vocations remain at home for at least 14 days.
