Liposuction.
Tumescent liposuction will allow you to achieve the body you have always dreamed of. This procedure is carried out using the state-of-the-art Body Jet machine. This is one of the most effective methods for quickly and almost painlessly removing excess fat. This method has several major advantages over classic liposuction, such as the fact the procedure is often carried out without general anaesthesia (under analgosedation only), and results in virtually no pain or scars.
The procedure is suitable for:
Body-Jet is most frequently used for liposuction of male breasts, the thighs, arms, abdomen and double chin. Another important advantage is that the connecting tissue, nerves and vessels in the vicinity of the treated area are often less traumatised than when other methods are used. This means significantly faster healing.
How is the procedure performed:
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia or analgosedation. The type of anaesthesia depends on the number of treated areas and the extent of the procedure. The specified areas are first saturated with a tumescent solution through a thin cannula (the numbing solution is effective for about 30-40 minutes), after which liposuction is performed. The client receives special compression underwear after liposuction.
Hospitalisation:
The client remains in the ward for about 2-3 hours after liposuction, after which he/she can go home.
What to expect after the procedure:
Compression underwear must be worn 24 hours a day for the first 2 weeks; it should be worn for 12 hours a day in the subsequent 2 weeks. The client can take a short shower 24 hours after the procedure. We recommend staying at home for at least a week after the procedure. Sports and physical activities are possible after 3 weeks. Bruises and swelling will disappear about 1-2 months after the procedure, and we recommend using Wobenzym enzymatic medication to speed up the healing process.
Depending on the operator’s preferences, lymph drainage or roller therapy may be later recommended.
